As prescription drug prices soar past those of narcotics, illicit labs pivot their operations, unleashing a surge of unregulated medications with devastating consequences. When a TV news crew reporting from a remote dumping site is ambushed, the cameraman is driven deep into the surrounding woods, where he encounters a solitary soldier. Suspicion mounts as the soldier’s behavior hints at secrets he refuses to share, even as the true scale of the contamination slowly comes into focus.
