Vienna, November 1918: Shortly before the fall of the Habsburg Monarchy, the crown jewels disappear from the Hofburg - including the imperial crown of Rudolf II and the legendary “Florentine” diamond. In November 2025, parts of the treasure, which has been missing for more than 100 years, turn up in a bank safe deposit box in Canada.
