Interview with Lynda Berry for ATV Today. With no sponsor and living at home in Wolverhampton Tessa Sanderson seemed an unlikely prospect for Olympic glory. But her drive and determination by 1977 had already taken her within a whisker of the javelin world record even though she had not won a major event. She had five more Olympic appearances ahead of her, including her gold medal success at Los Angeles in 1984.
