The origin of this film started when I received a bunch of old slides from a friend in Madrid. In a tiny box was a series of slides about space, obviously worn out, where only the red hue remained. They were quite enigmatic and beautiful, so I made a few live performances with them. Eventually, I decided to record something and filmed the slideshow with a digital camera. The transition between slides gave the camera a hard time, which resulted in digital aberrations. I thought they were perfect and decided to go along with it. Even though part of the film uses slides, it is all in motion. I later added some found sounds and music as well as some bits of video in chroma.
