The film is a fragment of its protagonist's life, capturing her emotional state as she struggles with the impossible task of leaving the person who has hurt her. Dara experiences the world on her own terms. There is no way of knowing what she might expect from the world—or from herself—the next moment. She is planning to spend New Year's Eve by the sea with the man she loves. But events begin to unfold in an entirely different direction.
