Out of Tune

Out of Tune is a tense, intimate short film about Liv, a college student whose struggle to write a song triggers an overwhelming panic response connected to her drum pad and creative self-doubt. She flees her dorm, but reminders of her unfinished music follow her until her friend Sebastian finds and comforts her. When he presents the drum pad, Liv must stop running and confront the source of her anxiety. By finally taking hold of the instrument, she begins to overcome her fear and returns the next day to making music with a smile. The film explores anxiety, artistic pressure, friendship, and the courage to reclaim one’s creativity.
