The “Pourquoi Pas?”, France’s largest oceanographic ship, sets out on the ‘Biobaz Mission’. It will allow the 30 international scientists on board to back up their latest hypothesis that bacteria play an essential role in the survival of underwater animal species at great depths in the ocean. The film is the story of this scientific mission.
