A Highrise Laundry Room is a documentary by Fernando Sancho portraying the lived experiences of six housekeepers who work for the residence of a highrise apartment building on the Upper West Side in Manhattan, New York City. Within the laundry room’s common space, the workers gradually shared their own highly personal stories with Sancho.
