The Yangtze River Estuary II is one of the largest and best-preserved ancient wooden shipwrecks ever discovered in the world. The filming team worked alongside archaeological and salvage crews at sea, documenting the excavation as it happened, and recording the entire process—from discovery and salvage to laboratory archaeology and conservation—on the front line.
